In this episode of Diamond Mining, Blaine tells a story of the time when he learned about the Japanese art of Kintsugi, the art of ‘gold joinery’ or ‘gold repair’ of pottery. The art of Kintsugi is more than just a way to repair broken pottery though, its also a philosophy of highlighting the flaws, imperfections, and the breaks in the nature of the pottery as a way of expressing the most valuable aspects of it. The philosophy carries over to human beings as well and implores us to not be ashamed of our broken and repaired places within but, instead, highlight them as a part of who we are and the things that make us the most valuable.

In this second part of a 3 episode series on the Science of Success, Blaine goes deep into the science of the RAS, the Reticular Activating System. The RAS is the connection between the body and the brain and gets programmed primarily by us based on our belief systems, our past experiences, and what we expect to see and experience. This is good and bad news! It means we get what we expect and what we think about we bring about! It also means we can reprogram what the RAS brings into our conscious awareness for our greater success.

Take lots of notes! There is a ton of information packed into this episode! All of this information is also taught in the Real Value Coaching Academy, which can be found at: The Coaching Academy Courses Website
