In this episode, Blaine talks about starting your daily gratitude exercise and upgrading your mindset, as well as the people you hang out with. If you want to truly grow, there are two things that must grow first: your mindset and the people around you.

The two things that hold most people back from real growth are their mindset and the people they've surrounded themselves with. This doesn't mean that the people around you are bad people, but the people around you often don't want to you to grow beyond them out of their own fear of being left behind.

In this episode, Blaine discusses the 'expert pyramid' and what it takes to climb to the top where the experts reside. Blaine explains that the top of the expert pyramid is not necessarily occupied by those with the most technical skills, but instead with those who have developed the most vital skills of communication and leadership. 

Often in business, it is not the smartest who experience the greatest success, but instead the most driven, the most creative, those with the best communication, negotiation, and client service skills, and those who understand their markets the best.
